The thesis

Why LGX, Why Now

A Proven Basin, Barely Imaged

The Illinois Basin has produced 4.2 billion barrels, with an estimated 4.1 billion recoverable barrels remaining (USGS, 2007). Most historical drilling on the Indiana side never used seismic data. LGX brings modern imaging to a region where it has rarely been applied.

Disciplined Well Economics

Shallow targets, low drilling costs, and local infrastructure support modeled well economics designed to work across a range of oil prices. Detailed pro forma economics, presented as modeled projections and not results, are available in the PPM and reviewed in our investor webinar series.

Built for Price Volatility

The program is designed around a low modeled breakeven, intended to allow continued drilling through weaker price environments. Modeled projections are not guarantees; actual results will vary.

Upside Beyond the Core

The core program targets shallow oil positions. Deeper formations beneath the position represent high-potential, still-to-be-proven upside layered on the base program, described further in the PPM.
