LGX Energy Corp. is raising $15 million in common equity at $1.50 per share to fund seismic-led oil development in southwestern Indiana, within the Illinois Basin.
LGX Energy Corp.
As detailed in the PPM.
Common stock in a C-corporation with a direct equity claim on the Company's growth, rather than partnership units in a single drilling program.
All terms are summary in nature. The Private Placement Memorandum governs in all respects.
The Illinois Basin has produced 4.2 billion barrels, with an estimated 4.1 billion recoverable barrels remaining (USGS, 2007). Most historical drilling on the Indiana side never used seismic data. LGX brings modern imaging to a region where it has rarely been applied.
Shallow targets, low drilling costs, and local infrastructure support modeled well economics designed to work across a range of oil prices. Detailed pro forma economics, presented as modeled projections and not results, are available in the PPM and reviewed in our investor webinar series.
The program is designed around a low modeled breakeven, intended to allow continued drilling through weaker price environments. Modeled projections are not guarantees; actual results will vary.
The core program targets shallow oil positions. Deeper formations beneath the position represent high-potential, still-to-be-proven upside layered on the base program, described further in the PPM.
